Can you imagine a better reform? Sure. … But an ideal plan isn’t on the table. And what is on the table, ready to go, is legislation that is fiscally responsible, takes major steps toward dealing with rising health care costs, and would make us a better, fairer, more decent nation.

There’s this idea that just because we have new technology we have to mourn the loss of the old technology and it’s just exhausting, this kind of nostalgic exercise in over-intellectualizing the loss of everything that used to be wonderful. You have almost the entirety of human history at your fingertips at any time on your computer or on your phone. Shut the hell up, life is pretty awesome right now.

1) I have no idea what my profession will be.

I was groomed by my parents to have an aptitude for numbers. I’m fairly good at them but it’s not something I enjoying doing as a career.

I have dabbled in stock trading but for personal use. I wouldn’t be able to gamble other peoples money.

I have been a bit of a jack of all trades since I’ve left school; Worked as a consultant at a music firm, freelance audio engineer, photographer, pseudo web designer and now tinkering with Object - C and Cocoa Touch.

Been researching a few career paths and so forth but nothing seems within reach.

Entertainment Lawyer with Music Law specialty

Sometimes I wished there was GPS directions to discovering what I should do as a profession.
